RUNWAY

Guido Maria Kretschmer for Puma & BVB collection

This special pre-collection was such a surprise, as no one (as far as I know) expected something like this. Obviously this show was mainly a promotion for the sponsor brands Puma and the german football club Borussia Dortmund (hence the colour black and yellow)…still I thought this show was extraordinary!

Guido Maria Kretschmer "Alaiyah collection" s/s

And there it is, the actual Spring/Summer collection by G.M.Kretschmer which is called "Alaiyha" meaning "Arabic spring". When I saw the collection I had a few words on my mind:  flowing fabric, Egypt, heat, silk, desert, sparkle (crystal) and Cleopatra. See the full show and more photos here!

Irina Schrotter s/s

Don't worry, you are not the only one who has never heard of Irina Schotter before! However the Rumanien designer is about to get more famous, especially with her runway shows in Berlin. Her main topic was to get rid of the everlasting colour black. I have to admit, I liked her show a tiny bit better than "Alaiyah"…transparent silk blouses, ivory, pale pink and coral evening dresses! Amazing.

Fantastisch.
